The Parts of a Story Song

by

This song helps children learn the typical structure of most stories by giving examples in a fun and easy call and response format. In addition to teaching the concepts of “beginning,” “middle,” and “end,” it teaches the vocabulary words of “setting” and “characters.”  Teachers from kindergarten to third grade find this song to be incredibly helpful, and one of the fastest ways to teach these difficult to memorize concepts.
