Teaching Ending Sounds Through Movement
Arta Quam | Wichita Public Schools | Wichita, Kansas
Through the use of movement, the ending sounds of words are emphasized, making the ending sounds easier to remember. In this exercise, the teacher says a word and emphasizes the ending sound with her voice and by raising her hand. The students then say the word, emphasizing the ending sound while raising their hands up high.
