As every teacher knows we deal with a lot of paper. What do we do with it, how do we organize it? Well in my classroom, a solution I have found that works well for me is I’ve purchased these file boxes, or mailboxes, from Walmart and these boxes, I just placed a little name on them and they’re easily, you know, they’re just stickers so I just easily take them off every year and replace them with my next class so I just file everybody’s paper right in there after I grade it and then at the end of the week they know they can come over, grab their papers or if they’re leaving early for the week they know that they can come over get their papers put them in their take-home folders and take them home. This is just one way you can organize all those papers that you have in your classrooms and you don’t have to send papers home every single day. I just send them home on Friday and that seems to work really, well. You might want to try this in your classroom.
