Before you start your lesson, it’s important to have all the materials you need with you before you have kids join you. So, I always like to have a little bucket that I contain the materials for each lesson. So, when my kids join me I don’t have to get up and walk away. I can be prepared with every single thing I need. I have my numbers, or my markers, or my shapes, and this way the students get my full attention and I’m not running around to get the items I need.
