Getting Students to Talk About Feelings
P.J. Auchterlonie | Caldwell Elementary | Wichita, Kansas
The teacher reads the book “Glad Monster, Sad Monster” and has the students pretend to be one of the monsters — each of which is connected with a feeling. She asks each student to share something that makes them feel the emotion of their monster, such as glad, loving, or worried.
