Putting Sounds Together to Make Words

by

Angela Rusk | Colvin Elementary | Wichita, Kansas

This lesson uses objects to teach children how to put sounds together to create a word. After reviewing a set of objects, the teacher slowly sounds out a word and asks the students to match it to one of the objects.
