Feedback is letting students know what they are doing correctly and where they can improve. It is critical to give students positive feedback. Praise and encouragement motivate students and build confidence.

The other type is telling students how they can improve. This helps them learn from their mistakes and make necessary changes. The teacher should be direct and specific, so students know exactly what they have done well or where they need to improve, and the conversation needs to be had as soon as possible. It gives students the support they need to keep working until they succeed.
